Gentle Aerobics

These classes are great for those who want to work their whole bodies gently to keep themselves mobile and fit. We work on cardio, balance, co-ordination and add a flavour of something different to make the sessions fun and engaging each week. On the video to the right you can see we used rock ā€™nā€™ roll as our speciality part of the class. With this class we have also done bits of zumba gold, yoga and salsa as the special exercises to once again keep every class new and stimulating. This is perfect for societies or community centres wanting to offer exercise in their weekly, bi weekly or monthly programmes.

Chair Fitness

This is our most popular class because it is brilliant for people slightly less steady on their feet, who want to keep fit. We work on stretching and strengthening our body, all in the safety and comfort of a chair. From finger tips to feet the whole body gets a great work out and we have loads of fun exercising to a wide range of music. We also provide exercise aids in these classes such as yoga balls to add an extra beneficial element to the class. Often we build such a strong relationship with the participants they request their favourite music and artists. Therefore we use this music to build exercises that suit the ability of the class and are personalised to the style of music the class enjoy.

Tai Chi Relaxation

This Chinese martial art practised for its health benefits and relaxation is a wonderful form of exercise. By focusing on matching your body movements to the breath our Tai Chi sessions promote; joint mobilisation, muscle toning and a tranquil release of tension. We offer stood and seated Tai Chi classes; our stood classes are a combination. This soft form of exercise is matched with soothing traditional music perfect for bringing something unusual yet beneficial to your exercise regime.

Motivational Movement

The video on the right provides a perfect example of what our Motivational Movement classes are all about. They are a fusion of movement and song! A range of exercises to classic songs to get everyone singing and moving along. We also use pom poms and exercise balls not only for the cognitive benefits but also to add that extra burst of excitement and enthusiasm in each class. A wonderful way of using physical and musical stimulants to exercise the whole body and mind to promote emotional and physical wellness. It is chair based and is perfect for less able bodied participants and dementia residents.
